Hello Curious Readers,

Today we’re talking about an important saying by Dietrich Bonhoeffer:

“Wisdom is different from knowledge and understanding and life experience. Wisdom is the gift of recognizing the will of God in the concrete tasks of life. – Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Take yourself some time to really think about his words.

Do you see any picture in front of your eye?

If not, that’s okay. I’ll tell you mine.

I see a tree with black background, a ledder hangs down and the tree trunk is rainbow-colored, because of the emotions you go through in life. I imagine that God guides us through hard times and he helps us to reach our goal no matter how big it is.

In the process you may feel not god enough and unworthy and that’s totally normal. Everybody goes through it, but the process is always different. You can always ask for advise when you need it, but remember that you have to believe in yourself and God in order to arrive and in order to live.

In that time you’ll have to take the risk to fall down and that’s what happens sometimes. Then you’ll have to take the strenght to begin again and climb your own mountain (or tree;)).

And when we finally arrive, we own the wisdom to have God’s will already experienced.

The tree is a metaphor for the tree of life.
