Before we dive right into it, I want you to discover the reason why you’re feeling unmotivated to do your daily tasks. This may help you with facing the struggles and keep the discipline you need. First Reason: Laziness and a lack of motivation can have a number of causes. One is that a person is overwhelmed. When someone feels like they have too much to do, they may not actually be able to accomplish anything at all. Another reason someone can’t stay motivated is that they are completing a task they simply don’t like. Second reason: Lack of Purpose You might be unmotivated because you don’t really know what you want out of life. When you don’t know where you want to go, it’s difficult to pick a road that will take you there. Third reason: Unrealistic Goals Setting unrealistic goals for yourself is a common cause of feeling unmotivated. When the bar is set so high that you internally don’t believe you can accomplish a goal, or you feel overwhelmed by how large it is, it’s much easier to simply avoid getting started. Fourth reason: Self Doubt A lack of motivation is often caused because you don’t honestly believe in yourself and your abilities. When you’re filled with self-doubts, it’s difficult to start a task or project because you’ve already decided it won’t turn out well and you want to avoid that eventual failure. The Definition:

This could be a discovery journey for you so stay concentrated and read through this very well defined definition of the word “motivation”. The first definition is: a reason or reasons for acting or behaving in a particular way. “escape can be a strong motivation for travel” Or different… Motivation is defined as the reasons why you are doing something, or the level of desire you have to do something. If you want to get healthier, this is an example of motivation to improve your health. The desire or enthusiasm to accomplish or achieve something. First steps to get your motivation back:

#4 Use exercise as one of your daily goals to improve your mental health
#5 Ask if your workplace is to blame for your lack of motivation
#6 Give yourself some space and take on a hobby or project you enjoy Talk to a fun friend, dance around at home, workout, watch a funny YouTube video, tackle something on your to-do list. Accomplishing something will give you a hit of dopamine in your brain. If you’re too overwhelmed by your day, sit for five minutes and meditate. Put on some soothing music and breathe. You might be surprised but those little things in your day will make your day worthy and wholesome. You don’t have to achieve something everyday sometimes the little things will make you feel life the most and motivate you for your next big or small step.
