How I Write My Blog Posts (weekly routine)
Updated: Oct 30, 2021
Hello Curious Readers,
Today I’m writing about how I actually write blog posts and how the result arises. Okay, before we’ll jump right into the topic I want to tell you that my weekly routine is more based on what dates I have every week, not in which time zone I do which activity. Now with that being said, let’s begin;)
The Idea:
Coming up with a topic I can write about, is more of a spantanous thing I do before actually writing. Topics like of my previous posts come up in my mind probably just before I’m falling asleep. So it’s just really late at night and when I get those Ideas I’m sometimes just a little annoyed at myself because then I have to put the light on and write on a note. But yeah it’s more of a spontaneous thing. If I would get no ideas for weeks then I get most inspired by other blogging content or videos on YouTube that kind of give of the same vibe or idea I feel like I want to write about. Pinterest is also a great inspiration source. For example for my saying goodbye to summer (Saying Goodbye To Summer (wixsite.com)) I got on Pinterest and just looked up a lot of photos about summer that made me feel like Oh, that’s what I’ll miss about summer. If you’re writing about seasons then Pinterest is probably the best Inspiration source you can find:)
My Progress:
So before I actually start writing I like I said have this idea in my head what I want to write about and then I’m just going on a walk in nature and outside in general. Yes, you heard that right! I feel like when you’re breathing fresh air your mind gets really active and also motivated. I don’t know if you understand but you can just try it out if you want;) So I’m going for a walk and while I’m doing that I record myself talking about that topic. Those audios are most times about ten minutes to twenty minutes long where I’m just talking about what comes to my mind when thinking about it. Sometimes I’m kind of trifting away with my thoughts that’s why sometimes the audios get this long and later when I’m relistening to all that stuff I was talking about something that doesn’t even relate close to the topic. But yeah, that’s me just talking five minutes long about the weather and forgetting the actual topic 🤗. Before you try it out, be careful when it’s windy outside. If you can’t really hear what you’re saying the whole audio is just wasted.
Okay, now like I said I’m relistening the audio when I’m back home. But before that I get more informed about what I want to write about. Like my last post was about being vegan and as a vegan you’re most times already informed about what you’re doing so it’s more of a refresher and getting new informations what I could mention in my blog posts. After that I’m listening to my audio again and at the same time write on my phone with what I said and forming them to well written structured texts. This can take really long to do but at the end it’s worth it. And then I’m just sending the whole text to my computer and copy paste it to WordPress where I then edit the text again and make it more readable, I guess. Yep, and at the end I’m just doing some designs on Canva and then it’s ready to publish!
My weekly routine:
So this was it for today:)
I really hope you liked it and follow for more content like this. Also share your thoughts on this post in the comments if you want;)
Have a nice day and keep believing in progress,
En 🍁
