Dark love 1 by Estelle Maskame

Today we are talking about Dark love 1 by Estelle Maskame!

This is about the 16-year-old Eden who is supposed to spend her summer holidays with her father in Santa Monica. Despite beach parties and the cool city, Eden has no desire to visit her father. When she arrives, she meets her stepbrothers and stepmother, who are surprisingly nice and polite except for her stepbrother Tyler who looks damn good but is a fucking asshole. But over time, she looks behind his facade and into his past. And all of a time she feels this feeling that she never felt, but now it’s here…

Very entertaining, although I’m not so on cliché books. I really liked Eden’s character. I also had a fight and cursed Tyler in some places. Even the writing style was super successful.

I just liked this book right away because it was written so beautifully. Except for one thing that I personally was not so satisfied with. When I read the epilogue, it seemed to me that 1 or 2 years had passed instead of 10 months, because so much happened in this period of time and I felt like it was too exhausting for her to write a few more pages. I probably just see it that way. In any case, I am looking forward to read the second part!
